Video of Building 7’s collapse as a tool to expose demolition evidence
The way the news media transmit information – and the way we consume that information – has changed massively over the past couple of decades.
As people started to wake up to the 9/11 World Trade Center evidence, they also began turning from television to the internet to get the bulk of their news.
In recent years, we have witnessed a further shift, as more and more people focus their attention on social media. In particular, very short, attention-grabbing videos have become very popular. Most of these videos are no longer than an average commercial on TV.
To carry on our mission to advocate for a new WTC investigation, AE911Truth has adapted to this latest trend. In just the last couple of weeks, we have produced several short videos, called reels, which have focused mainly on WTC 7 and the need for a new investigation into its destruction on September 11, 2001.
We are thrilled to share with you that a talented volunteer, who is an expert in social media, is helping us build our presence across various platforms. We're reaching tens of thousands of followers and raising awareness about our mission, as these new platforms allow us to target new audiences and expand our base of support.
AE’s chief operating officer, Andy Steele, has been making these short films. He has this to say about the challenge presented by this new format:
“The evidence of Building 7’s controlled demolition is very detailed and difficult to convey in under 20 seconds,” Steele explains. “But this is the challenge that our new social media expert has laid out based on what people seem to be watching these days. Since watching video of Building 7 coming down exposes the evidence so effectively, I often try to incorporate images of it coming down.”
Steele adds:
“What’s funny is that even though the videos are very short, Building 7 fell in an even shorter amount of time, so it’s not hard to work it in. Think about that – this building literally fell quicker than the time it takes for a TV network to do a quick station identification. If you still believe the government’s official story of how Building 7 came down, then I have some Enron stock to sell you.”
Below are some of the videos that AE911Truth has produced. We ask our supporters to share them widely so we can reach a new generation and keep the fire of truth burning.
