Former RT host says he was less censored than his CNN counterparts
Sean Stone, whose father is famed film director Oliver Stone (director of JFK), has had a successful career in the alternative media, including a stint as co-host of the show Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura.
Interviewed by Andy Steele for the recent 24th Hour conference, Stone explained that he doubted the official story of 9/11 very early on. He says that the passage of the Patriot Act and the blaming of 9/11 on Saddam Hussein, justifying the Iraq War, were major clues that forces other than Muslim extremists were behind the event.
“Obviously I was against the Patriot Act – I saw pretty quickly what that was doing to our freedoms.”
He added that despite the recent pledge by Donald Trump to release all the classified documents on the Kennedy assassination there is no guarantee that the full truth of that crime will ever come out.
“I don’t know if we’ll get that smoking gun that says, ‘A-ha! The U.S. government was involved.”
